Mother’s Day is Sunday, May 11th. For those of you who are on top of it, you’ve probably already read our DIY Mother’s Day Ideas post from last week and have your gift ready to go. But, if you’re a bit of a slacker, don’t have a gift yet, are short on cash, but still want to give something that will make Mom smile, don’t worry. We’ve got you covered! We’ve searched around and gathered some great Mother’s Day poems to add to our collection for some quick, budget-friendly alternatives.
Not sure how to send the poem to Mom? Here are a few suggestions*:
- Type it out in an email
- Handwrite it in a letter using snail mail (you’d better do this now!)
- Copy and paste it into an e-card
- Break the poem up into pieces and send the poem to Mom as mini text messages throughout the day, and end with “I love you Mom!”
*Of course, be sure to give credit to the original poet if the words aren’t your own!
Happy Mother’s Day to all you Moms out there!
