More Upcoming Design Changes and a Greensboro Bridal Show

Just a quick note: We will be at the Carolina Weddings Show in Greensboro on January 30th. If you’re in the area, you should come and see us!

We are wrapping up the last few tweaks to the new Gala Pal user interface/design. In fact, one morning in the very near future, you are going to wake up to a completely new Gala Pal. It’s hard to put into words how ridiculously excited we are about this. We’ve put a lot of hard work into making a wedding planning app that does all the heavy lifting for you and we can’t wait to turn this new page in our journey with you.

Before we dive more deeply into specific page changes that you should expect in the coming weeks, we wanted to remind you that you can find other sneak peeks we’ve done here and here.

Dashboard Screen

Once you log into the site, this is the first thing you’ll see once you’ve established your account with Gala Pal (sigh, isn’t it pretty?). This will give you an overview of everything that’s been happening since you’ve last logged in. That includes budgets, to-do lists, RSVPs and their comments, and messages. From here, you can navigate anywhere within your account from the main section or the banner section.

Event Overview

Event Overview Screen

This page is the hub of any given event that you’re planning. Please note: You can split your wedding into separate events to make everything that much easier on yourself. That means you can have your bridal shower, rehearsal dinner, wedding, honeymoon, etc. all listed as different events. Splitting it all up really helps keep you more organized and less overwhelmed.
On the event overview page, Gala Pal will give you a general rundown of everything that’s going on with that event. That includes, budgeting, RSVPs, your to-do list, and recent comments. This gives you a wide landscape of everything without becoming too jumbled. Just like the main dashboard, navigation from here is pretty straightforward.

Message Guests

Message Guests

This page allows you to look to see who has RSVP’d recently. From here, you can send them a message to, say, confirm whether they forgot to add Uncle Louie to their RSVP. Even better? You can gently nudge those who have not RSVP’d yet with a gentle message. You can send group messages to groups of guests, which especially helps when sudden changes come up.

We are expecting to shift over to all of the new interface changes very soon — we will keep you updated on social media, too! Check us out on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, or Pinterest!

UntitledHappy planning!
